Join Our Team as a Maintenance Technician!

Are you a problem solver with a passion for troubleshooting and fixing issues? Sohn Linen, a leading linen service provider in Lansing, MI, is seeking a talented Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production equipment and facilities.

Compensation:
This will be an hourly position with pay based on experience. Increase occurs once fully trained to work on equipment independently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine inspections and maintenance of machinery and equipment to prevent breakdowns
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and equipment performance
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues in a timely manner
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment to minimize downtime
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions to maintain production efficiency
• Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in troubleshooting and repairing industrial equipment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Experience in preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of industrial equipment (1-3 years) is a plus but not required
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
