Job Description - Preventative Maintenance - Sohn Linen Service Inc.

Sohn Linen is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team in Lansing, MI as a Preventative Maintenance Technician. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that our equipment and facilities are operating at optimal levels to prevent any potential issues and maintain a smooth workflow.

Compensation:
This will be an hourly position with pay based on experience. Increase occurs once fully trained to work on equipment independently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine inspections and maintenance of machinery and equipment to prevent breakdowns
• Troubleshoot issues to identify root causes and implement effective solution
• Collaborate with other team members to prioritize and address maintenance needs in a timely manner
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and equipment performance
• Available during shift times of 3pm-11:30pm

Qualifications:

• Experience in preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of industrial equipment (1-3 years) is a plus but not required
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills and a proactive approach to maintenance tasks
