Production Team: Garment Make-Up
Our Garment Make-Up department assists the Production Supervisor or other facility manager in processing garments efficiently and that they meet quality standards.
Job Duties:
- Prepare garments to be shipped back to customer locations
- Organize garments by route and stop number
- Store garments until shipment back to the customer
- Handle final inspection to ensure products meet quality standards
- Prepare garments that require poly bagging/wrapping
- Follow all safety policies and medical guidelines.
- Perform other duties as described by area supervisor or management
What we’re looking for:
- High school education and/or GED equivalent preferred
- Ability to stand and walk for at least an 8-hour shift
- Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly with management
- Ability to perform basic mathematical functions
- Ability to lift 10 lbs. and push up to 25 lbs.
HOURS OF WORK: Production personnel are assigned a forty-hour schedule. The hours of work depend upon production requirements. Additional mandatory overtime may be assigned which includes weekends. Two 10-minute breaks are provided, one morning break and one afternoon break. An unpaid 30-minute meal break is provided.
